CONTEST GUIDELINES:

  •             Work must be received no later than October 4.

  •             Plays must be under an hour; one-acts only please.

  • Works containing plagiarism or copyright infringement will not be accepted.
  •            The piece must not have been produced elsewhere.

  •             Multiple submissions will be accepted.

  •            We are currently only interested in legitimate plays; musicals will not be accepted at this time.

·         The winning playwright should be available for consultation regarding the performance, but it will be directed by a director from The Nine Mile Players.

Some tips:

The Nine Mile Players would like to consider staging the winning piece in the future. In order to do so, feasibility is very important. As a new community theater project, we do not have extensive resources at our disposal so please keep this in mind when submitting your work.

To make it easier for the judges, please make sure to spell-check and proof read your work.

Deadline: Oct. 4, 2011
