Spring Fair

The first Saturday in May will be the Oxford Spring Fair.  Family fun for everyone!  Includes a kids adventure course, educational and hands on local culture elements, touch a truck and tractor, food trucks and more!  Come and enjoy a family day and learn something along the way!

Arts & Crafts Fair

The first Saturday in November is host to the annual Arts & Crafts Fair which has been an Oxford tradition for over 50 years!   Artisans and crafters from Oxford and surrounding towns bring their wares out for sale just in time for the holidays!  Unique curated items make for perfect one of a kind gifts for loved ones.

Gather & Groove

A partnership between OCAC and Kanzeon Sound Studio.

Community music gatherings featuring a drum circle and live performance by local bands and musicians. 

​

Offered by donation at town hall the 3rd Friday of the month June through September at 6 pm.

Make Music Day

June 21 is Make Music Day internationally.  We support this fun appreciation day because it incorporates so many aspects of what we support in Cultural Arts:  music making, creativity, artisanship and community. 

​

Offered annually for free on the longest day of the year.

Plein Air Painting

& Urban Sketch

Join us as we venture out into the world with our art supplies. 

 

Plein air is a French phrase that means "in the open air" and refers to the act of painting outdoors. 

​​Urban Sketching by comparison is focused on urban and indoor spaces.

Join us for our new lecture series. A partnership with the Oxford Public Library.  An interesting topic each session with a local expert.  Learn in person and ask questions about the topic at hand.  Feel free to email us at CulturalArts@Oxford-CT.gov if you have a suggestion for a topic for our lecture series.
