Make Music Day
Promoting Music

June 21 is Make Music Day internationally. We support this fun appreciation day because it incorporates so many aspects of what we support in Cultural Arts: music (make music), creativity (writing music or making up a tune), artisanship (creating instruments out of everyday household items) and community (sharing your music)

Fall Photography Contest
Community

The annual Fall photography contest kicked off in 2021 and will continue as part of our regular programming. Residents and surrounding community members are encouraged to photograph scenic views in our beautiful town of Oxford and submit them to our contest. The photo must have been taken in the current year and the subject matter should reflect fall and be located within Oxford. The contest begins in September and concludes on the final day of November with results shared via our web site and social media the first week of December. Good Luck fellow shutterbugs!

Jack Frost Contest
Community

Winter kicks off the snowy season! Annually Dec 1 - March 1 we invite the community to build a snowman or snow sculpture and send us a picture or post it (must be a public post) and tag us @OxfordCulturalArts or use #OxfordJackFrost. Voting commences March 1-15 and the picture with the most "likes" will receive a Donut and Hot Chocolate/Coffee party (serves up to 20). Winner announced the week of March 15.

Arts & Crafts Fair
Promoting the Arts

The first Saturday in November is host to the annual Arts & Crafts Fair which has been an Oxford tradition for 50 years! Artisans and crafters from Oxford and surrounding towns bring their wares out for sale just in time for the holidays! Unique curated items make for perfect one of a kind gifts for loved ones.
