The Budding Photographers Contest begins in April 1 and runs through the end of June 30, with the $25 top prize winners announced the Second week of July. Two prizes will be given for age groups 0-6 and from 6-12.

​The image must have been taken in the current contest year, and the photographer must reside in Oxford, Connecticut and be under the age of 12.

The contest is open to Oxford residents as well as other shutterbugs in the surrounding communities.

Email your photo by the end of November to CulturalArts@Oxford-ct.gov with the subject "Budding Photographer."  

Include parent/guardian's name, address, a title or description of your photograph, and phone so we can reach you if you are one of the winners.  Please include your child's first name, age or school grade.​

By submitting an entry, you agree to the social media release and that Oxford Cultural Arts may use the photograph(s) on our web site and social media.​
